"Our three local counties, Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex will again be the primary focus for sourcing many of the beers, ciders and perrys that will feature at Haslemere’s Beer Festival" explained Simon Labrow one of the organisers".

"We are looking to cater for all tastes so visitors not keen on real ale may prefer the cider, perry, wine or world beers."

Food will be available, and a number of bands on Friday & Saturday night will be provided for your entertainment. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere to enjoy their ale, we recommend the Saturday lunch time session which will be accompanied by a fantastic local jazz band.

Jay Seldon, our festival cellar man, added "We had great feedback with regards to the cask lager last year. In fact, Oakleaf - I Can't Believe It's Not Bitter' was one of the first casks to run out!

The Ale of the Festival 2009  (as voted by you) was "Irving & Co.  Brewers - Captain B." - an excellent spiced-rum styled ale.
